Public Voting
A public vote will take place on the “A Love Like Fire” fanfiction.net profile
from May 16th – May 23th. A 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner will be decided based off this vote.

Judges Voting
Once the entries have been validated and posted they will be judged by our lovely panel of judges:
Judges will rate each of these categories between 1-5 based on how much they enjoy each aspect of the story. In the end, the totals of each story will be added up and the 1st 2nd and 3rd place winners will be derived from the overall points they receive.

Use of Theme
Originality
Writing Quality
Overall Angst Factor
Validating Entries
All stories will undergo a basic validation read-through to make sure all of the criteria and rules have been followed. If your story does not meet the criteria, it will be sent back to you with a note as to why it was rejected. Feel free to re-submit once the changes have been made.
Once the stories are validated, they will be added to the“A Love Like Fire” C2 Community

The "A Love Like Fire Awards:
All the “A Love Like Fire” awards will be decided on by our validation team.
Best 1st Time Writer Award: One first time writer will win the “Newbie” award
Best Angst: This will go to the contestant whose makes us hurt the most.
Best Tear Jerker: For the entry that makes us cry the hardest.
Hostess Pic: There will be one recipient of this award and it will be given at the discretion of the hostess.
Prizes:
All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in both the Judging and Voting contests, as well as any “special” award winners, will have a banner for their story made by one of our lovely graphic artists : MsRason MyRobAddiction or candykizzes24. First place judges and public vote will win a blinkie in addition to the banner.
